The Macroregion of the western Mediterranean, it will be discussed during an event in Naples

ROME (ITALY), Friday, August 24, 2018 (MERCURPRESS.COM) - On 7th September 2018 in Naples, from 9:30 am, in the "Sala Calypso" of Centro Congressi della Stazione Marittima di Napoli (Molo Angioino) a multi-level governance structure will be presented which, with the overcoming of territorial limits, will guarantee a constant commitment to the promotion of social and economic development of southern Italy.

The event, which will see technical contributions of international diplomatic standing, is organized by Paolo Pantani, President Emeritus Acli Beni Culturali, Stanislao Napolano, President of the Carlo Filangieri Association, Giordano Editore and local newspaper "Il Denaro".

The meeting will discuss European and Euro-Mediterranean cooperation policies for culture, environmental protection, scientific research, innovation, energy systems, territorial connectivity, sustainable urban mobility, and therefore the socio-economic development of the southern land and the coastal countries of the western central Mediterranean.

This event, during which will be presented the volume edited by Renato D'Amico and Andrea Piraino entitled "For the Macro-region of the Western Mediterranean" published by Franco Angeli, is an anticipation of the Forum, coordinated by Paolo Pantani, scheduled for the third decade of October in Naples on the issues of socio-economic development of the Western Mediterranean.

The meeting, moderated by Alfonso Ruffo, director of "Il Denaro", will be curated by the editors of the book, Renato D'Amico, Professor of Political Science at the University of Catania and Andrea Piraino, Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Palermo
